（TechDaily电子报2月20日综合报导）微软已提供接近成品的Office 2010候选版给某些初期测试者，并订于6月上市。

一名公司代表表示：“微软已提供一个候选版给技术采用计划（TAP）的成员。这是微软在整个工程程序中一个规划好的阶段，然而，我们没有计划广泛提供这一个版本。”

Office 2010的beta版早在去年11月发布。至上月为止，下载人次已突破200万。

微软是在去年7月发布一个技术预览版，正式展开Office 2010的公众测试，但去年5月还有一个更早的版本流出。

Office 2010的每个核心程序都有改善，但保有Office 2007的XML文档格式和标签式界面。最大的改变，或许是增加网络版的Excel、Word、OneNote和PowerPoint，名为Office Web Apps。此外，微软也首次同时提供64位版和32位版。
